The
apartment is ideal for a relaxing beach/pool holiday and is an ideally
placed centre for exploration and touring. It is fully equipped for your
every need and comfort with Hotbird, Astra 1 and 2 satellite television, roof
solarium and large communal pool. Sleeps 4 + 1 child. Air conditioned
throughout.
The
lounge/diner has a three-seater settee and an armchair, English, German, French
and Italian TV/radio
and air conditioning. The double and twin bedrooms are fitted with large
wardrobes and drawers. Each is air conditioned. The kitchen has all mod
cons - fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic hob etc. etc. The bathroom has
a shower over the bath and a bidet. There are bathroom scales for you
and your suitcases!! There is a utility room with washing machine and
hand washing facilities. The south facing terrace overlooks the pool and
the upstairs solarium is fully equipped with loungers etc. There is all
the equipment you need to take to the beach. Cool box/ice packs are
provided.
El Pinet is between the village of La Marina and the sea. There are
protected dunes, a nature reserve and salt flats nearby. La Marina beach
has Blue Flag status. The apartment is ideal for a relaxing beach/pool
holiday and is an ideally placed centre for exploration and touring. For
golfers there are many courses - La Marquesa is 10min away at Quesada,
Las Ramblas and Villa Martin are about 20min away. The famous complex at
La Manga is about an hour away.

La Marina / El Pinet area
Sea, sun, sand, shopping, local
markets, international cuisine, nightlife, go karting, golf,
fishing, walking.. imagine it...you will find it here!
The Village: La Marina is very Spanish in character, but it
manages to provide all the little extras to let you enjoy your
stay - English newspapers published on the same day, an English
supermarket etc. There is a tourist information office,
pharmacy, travel agency, many shops, bars and restaurants. The
El Pinet /La Marina beaches are superb - cleaned every day,
lifeguards on duty in the season, beach bars/restaurants,
toilets and a superb spider´s web climbing frame for the kids.
Just a kilometre or so inland lies the urbanization of La
Marina. This boasts an extensive range of facilities from large
supermarkets to internet cafes and a snooker club. There is a
wide variety of restaurants - Chinese, Indian etc.
Alicante, to the north, has super
shopping with castle, old town and port to explore. Torrevieja,
to the south, is a bustling, entertaining resort. About 10km
inland is Elche. This beautiful old city has a super old town to
wander round, and there are the palm gardens to see. There are
thousands of palm trees - Elche is known as the ´city of palms´.
Benidorm is less than 1 hour away - theme parks etc.
La Marina urbanization has markets on Sundays and Thursdays. In
fact, there are markets somewhere every day of the week - Santa
Pola, Guardamar, La Mata etc. Santa Pola market is great for
buying quality leather shoes at a fraction of English prices.
There are trinket markets every evening in Santa Pola, Guardamar
and Torrevieja in the summer.
