La Marina is approx. 11 miles
(18 kilometres) south of Alicante international airport, and is
best reached by hired car or taxi, which are available at the airport
On leaving the
airport, bear right towards the Alicante/El Altet sign, and
follow the signs to Santa Pola/Cartagena turning right onto the
N332. You will bypass El Altet through a tunnel, then Santa Pola
and the salt recovery lakes.
DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST TWO
TURN-OFFS TO LA MARINA PLAYAS AND TO LA MARINA/ ELCHE.
At the THIRD
turn off, follow the Urbanisations La Marina sign. The road
winds uphill for about two kilometres, passing a green petrol
station on the left before reaching the Urbanisation. Turn left
into Plaza Sierra Castilla (at the group of sign posts including
Aqua Cars), and drive straight for approx. 1.5 km (past Barclays
Properties on the left), before turning left into Calle Santa
Pola and right into Calle Oslo. Look for a close at the start of
number 2384/2389, and turn right. The number of the villa is
2385 (70).
