How to get there
La Marina is
approx. 11 miles (18 kilometers) south of Alicante
international airport, and is best reached by hired car or taxi,
which are available at the airport
On leaving the
airport, bear right towards the Alicante Sur/El Altet sign, and
follow the signs to Santa Pola/Cartegena turning right onto the
N332 after about 1 kilometre. You will bypass El Altet through a tunnel, then Santa Pola
and the salt recovery lakes.
DO
NOT TAKE THE FIRST TWO TURN-OFFS TO LA MARINA PLAYAS AND TO LA
MARINA/ ELCHE.
At the THIRD
turn off, follow the Urbanisations La Marina sign. The road
winds uphill for about two kilometers, passing a green petrol
station on the left before reaching the Urbanisation. Turn left
at the 4th road after the petrol station into Calle Bilbao,
go over the cross-road, and look for number 41 in a cul-de-sac, immediately on
the left.
